GEORGE CLARK Obituary

Aug 22, 1921 - July 4, 2014 EL RENO Funeral services with Military Honors and Masonic Rites for George W. Clark, of El Reno, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in the First Christian Church of El Reno. The Rev. Ronnie Fields, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. George Clark came to Union City as a child and was a graduate of Union City High School. He lived in Oklahoma City during the 1950s and moved to El Reno Christmas of 1975. George served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and then served in the Air Force Reserves. Mr. Clark was a retired aircraft mechanic from FAA and a lifetime farmer. George was a member of First Christian Church, El Reno Masonic Lodge No 50, Oklahoma City Shriners, Oklahoma Farm Bureau, and Oklahoma Angus Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. & Kitty Josephine (Bollinger) Clark; brother, Laverne Clark; and his wife of 59 years, Eleanor (Stahl) Clark. Survivors include his two daughters, Georgette Clark, of El Reno, OK; and Jamie Keller & husband Bob, of Waukesha, WI; brother, James D. Clark, of Union City, OK; grandsons, Ron & Kyle Clark; nieces, Ronda Ledford, Linda Estep, and Dianna Schieber; nephew, Alan Clark; many other relatives and dear friends. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of El Reno or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
