George Gray Obituary

George Patrick Gray (PaPa), 74, of Piedmont, OK, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 15, 2010. He was born on March 6, 1935 to Ted & Lorena Gray. He touched so many hearts with his wit, wisdom and common sense. George enjoyed being with family, fishing, helping others & working outdoors. He was a farmer for many years, and retired from Putnam City Schools as a Maintenance Foreman. He is survived by his wife Mary; son, Brian Gray & wife Debbie; daughter, Angela Johnson & husband Scot; grandchildren: Nathanial, Danielle & Keith Gray; Sam & Molly Johnson; 6 stepgrandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Stangl & husband Tony; and brothers: Wendell Gray & wife Carol, David Gray & his wife Joann. George is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Gray, J.O. Gray; and his sister, Dorothy Gray. A rosary service will be held at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at St. Monica Catholic Church. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at St. Monica Catholic Church, 2001 N. Western, Edmond, OK, with burial to follow at Kansas Cemetery, Piedmont, OK.
