Harold Penner

Harold George Penner, born Jan. 1, 1925, died August 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Lena (Buller) Penner, seven brothers and three sisters. He is survived by a brother Arthur and sister Clara Dalke, his wife Lavalla, daughter Mary Ellen and son Harold Glenn. Harold was the 13th child born to his parents. He graduated from Corn Okla. High School and served during World War II in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater. On Nov. 8, 1945, Harold married his high school sweetheart, Lavalla Leppke. He retired from the Oklahoma State Employment Security Commission and was a past president of R.O.S.E.S. Harold was a longtime member of the Village Baptist Church.
