Harold Penner Obituary

Harold George Penner, born Jan. 1, 1925, died August 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Lena (Buller) Penner, seven brothers and three sisters. He is survived by a brother Arthur and sister Clara Dalke, his wife Lavalla, daughter Mary Ellen and son Harold Glenn. Harold was the 13th child born to his parents. He graduated from Corn Okla. High School and served during World War II in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater. On Nov. 8, 1945, Harold married his high school sweetheart, Lavalla Leppke. He retired from the Oklahoma State Employment Security Commission and was a past president of R.O.S.E.S. Harold was a longtime member of the Village Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, September 1, at the Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery in Corn, OK. Aunt Lavella I just recently learned of Uncle Harold's passing. I am so sorry to hear about this. I wish I would of known sooner. My prayers and thoughts are with you and the rest of the family! My mom is not doing well and not expected to have much longer as well. Know even with this you are in my prayers and thoughts daily!
