Feb. 14, 1927 - Nov. 22, 2015 OKLAHOMA CITY Hyla, 88, was called to her Heavenly home Nov. 22, 2015. She was born on Feb. 14, 1927, in Oklahoma City, OK to George Thomas & Islar Winnie (Davis) Williams. Hyla worked in the Human Resources Dept. at OCCC for almost twenty years before her retirement in 1992. She was a member of Knob Hill Baptist Church. Hyla was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was very self-sufficient and continued to drive until a few months ago. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Burlon Kesey; one granddaughter; two sisters; and her loving dog, "Scotty"; she is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Gonzalez & husband Roberto and Janis Honea & husband John; grandchildren, Lee Honea, Leasa Pracht; Andres, Cristina, Olivia, and Stephana Gonzalez; and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to OKYorkieRescue.org or local animal shelter. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. today at Vondel Smith S. Western. Graveside Services to celebrate her life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 S.W. 104th St., OKC.
