Dr. J. Louis Emmert

DR. J. LOUIS EMMERT, 89, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away January 22, 2005. He was born June 8, 1915, in Wellington, Texas. He and his wife, Velma, pastored seven Churches over a period of 50 years... Aransas Pass and Longview, Texas, Blytheville, Arkansas, Yukon, El Reno, Oklahoma, and 30 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was proceeded in death by his Son Jim Emmert, October 31, 1998. He is survived by his wife of seventy-one years - Velma; daughter-in-law, Faith Emmert; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Phil Cobb, and Son and Daughter-in-Law, Raymond and Maxine Emmert, Adopted daughter, Donna Pennick, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and six great, great grandchildren. He will be missed by us all. He was a wonderful man of Prayer. Viewing will be from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, and 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29 and 30 at the FreemanHarris Funeral Home, 3333 East 41 Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74135.
