James Stanbro Obituary

Mr. James Charles Stanbro, age 53, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2010.

Mr. Stanbro was born in Gulfport to Norman Lee Stanbro and Beverly Jean Corwin Stanbro. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 21 years. Although he traveled the world, the Coast was always his home. He was a Maritime Captain and his great passion and love was for the water and his family.

He was preceded in death by father, Norman Lee Stanbro; and his sister, Dawn Stanbro.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Teresa Stanbro of Gulfport; mother, Beverly Jean Stanbro; daughter, Stephanie Koehler and her husband Lee of Nashville, TN; siblings, Donald Stanbro, Ronald Stanbro, and Bethany Pique; and one grandson, Jonathan Koehler.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 2 p.m. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior to services.

Memorials may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, www.pancreaticcancerfoundation.com. A guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
