JAMES SUTTLE

May 17, 1948 - May 18, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY James was born May 17th, 1948 in Booneville, Arkansas to John C. and Ruby M. Suttle. He left this life May 18th, 2014, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. James was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Suttle. He is survived by his brothers Anthony R. Suttle, Walter E. Suttle and his wife Connie, and his nephew W. Albert Suttle. As a young man, James was a member of the Order of DeMolay and once held statewide office in that organization. James' careers were diverse and wide-ranging. He worked in sheet metal, with an emphasis on duct-work fabrication, and was a member of the union. Afterward, James worked in sales for Oklahoma Brick and other companies. His later years he spent building homes for Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity. He also went back to college and earned an Associate's Degree in Construction Technology from Oklahoma State University at the Oklahoma City campus. James was an outgoing, vibrant man, always wore a smile and if he knew you very long probably had a nickname for you. If you knew him, then recall fond memories, as that will please him greatly.
