Jerry Purdum Obituary

Jerry R. Purdum, 74, of Oklahoma City, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006. He was born Feb. 16, 1932 in Enid, OK to Harold and Maud Purdum. He graduated from Guthrie H.S. and served in the Oklahoma National Guard and Korea. He married Jane Bedell in 1954 in Miami, OK. He was a friend of Bill W. for 21 years. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Jr., he is survived by his wife Jane and three sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Debbie of Troy, MO, Mike and Debra of Weatherford, OK, Jeff and Janet of Arlington, TX, a half-brother, George Purdum of Broken Arrow, OK, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, 2424 NW 50th St in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Oklahoma City, 4334 NW Expressway, Ste. 106, Oklahoma City, OK 73116 in appreciation for their loving care and concern. Jane and Family,
