Jester Prince Obituary

D. Prince passed away Monday August 23, 2004 in Norman, OK. He was born on November 25, 1917 to Elmer & Addie Lou Prince in Corsicana, TX. Jester was a member of the Cherokee Hills church of Christ. His first love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and participating in shooting sports with his son in law. Mr. Prince had received the million miler watch award from Lee Way Motor Freight Company for driving 1 million miles without an accident during his 30 years of service. He had served his country in the United States Army as an Army Ranger & was awarded service comondation for his service to his country. Survivors include his wife Charlene Prince of the home; 1 daughter Debbie S. Bowd & husband David; 1 brother Ernest Prince of Golden Meadow, Louisiana; 3 grandchildren & 1 great grandson. One Grandson, David Ryan Bowd predeceased him. Services will be held at Cherokee Hills Church of Christ at 6724 NW 63rd in OKC, OK at 11:00 AM on Thursday August 26, 2004 with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery . Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
