My heart goes out to the family. I glad I saw Jimmie with an extended visit at his house last year.
Jimmie's life would have made a good character in a Mark Twain novel. It was real, not fiction. He drove a firetruck with the siring blaring from his house to OU ballgames. Jimmie had a heard of buffaloes at The Thomas Ranch in the early 1960's. My family came home from vacation and all the chairs were on the table. We knew Jimmy had been there. The time he placed a rubber duck in the toilet and Inez sat down and a scream came out. LOL. My parents and their friends enjoyed the Full Moon Party that he started when he moved back to Ada. Everyone talked about the party out at the cabin;. My dad said Jimmie was one of the hardest working men he knew, but he knew how to have fun.
