John was a very special friend - the kind you find sparingly in this world. I miss his laugh and our talks across the miles. He has left a big hole in my heart and in everyone’s heart he touched.

Dear Wynne Family,
I am so very sorry and upset about John's passing. We started one week apart at A&K and became good friends. I have several warm and fond memories of John. He hosted so many dinners, weekend lunches and events for football games at his apartment. We went on several eventful double dates together. He was quick to laugh, brilliant and a loyal friend to me.
When we found out we passed the Texas bar exam, four of us were at bar and got goaded into hopping on the late flight to Vegas. We called John, who was at home, and without hesitation said he would join us and was waiting on the curb when we got there, smiling from ear to ear.
I will keep y'all in my prayers.
