I heard Kitty's name my entire life. My father, Bob, who graduated high school with Kitty, considered her to be his closest and a life-long friend. They spoke on the phone almost every year about the time of their common summer birthdays (just over a week apart). I met her at least once, in the late 1990's, and I could instantly tell they were kindred spirits. My mother adored Miss Kitty as well. Dad never mentioned that she had passed. I only found out trying to tell her that he has. He might not have known. I'm sure they are making each other laugh and having a good old reunion this week. Miss Kitty is still remembered. Blessings to her family.
