What a sad day to hear about Kathy. I worked with her in OKC in the 90's. She was so much fun. We laughed and to this day I still share with others some of the laughter. Thank you Kathy for the joy of knowing you.

Kathy will be missed by all of us who had the privilege of working with her every day. What a happy, bubbly, energetic person she was. She was so wonderful to me, welcoming me at work and helping me whenever I needed her. She was a shining light here and now it seems just a little darker. We love you, Kathy! May God hold all your family and friends in the palm of his hand and bring them peace.

It was a privilege and joy to get to know Kathy, and hear many of her funny stories and street wisdom, over the past 10 plus years. I wish we were closer during high school, but glad I didn't miss out on her friendship altogether. Blessings on her sister girlfriends ... and her big family.

I had the privilege of working with Kathy at AAA when she managed the Del City office. Kathy was one of the most fun, energetic, friendly and fantastic women I have ever known. She lit up any room she entered and had such a gift for making everyone feel part of the group. Thoughts and prayers with the family during this difficult time.

Although we have not seen each other in years...family is always family! My prayers go out to her husband, children and friends and especially sister, Christie and mother, Shirley. She was obviously loved by all and will be greatly missed! It gives me much peace to also know that she is now with our Lord in heaven, along with her wonderful father, Wallace (my Uncle Corky), our sweet grandmother, Grace (Dear) Sherman and a special Aunt & Uncle, Kathryn and Bob Sherman (my loving parents) and the many other family members who predeceased her but knew and loved her so much when we got together in Austin. Such fun and fond memories! It's just hard to believe she's gone but as a donor, she will bless many others so they may live on...that's truly an incredible legacy! RIP sweet girl! Love, Cousin Sandy (Sherman) Trader and Family

A good friend has been taken away from us way too early....Kathy was a long time friend...someone you knew would always be there for you... if you'd seen each other yesterday...or a year ago.
Kathy and I loved going to lunch together..whether it was at a restaurant or at my house...she would almost beg me to meet at my house for Fried Egg Sandwiches...she said they were the best she ever had...I told her it was just a fried egg, mayo and Wonder bread...but she said there was something special about them.....now it's my turn to say how special she was to me. Good friends are so hard to come by...Kathy was right there at the top of the list. Love you...and my thoughts are with your family.

Kathy was my twisted Sister. Over the years that we had worked together, we had become very close friends. I could not imagine working for 29 years at the same company without Kathy. She was very witty, funny and loved to here her tell stories. You were guaranteed to laugh.
She will be missed by all that new her.
I miss you twisted Sister. See ya on the other side and love you dearly.

Of all the people I have worked with, I treasure my memories of AAA and Kathy. She taught me so much about travel and fashion. She was so much fun to work with and I will always have funny memories of her. She just couldn't understand my obsession with my grandbabies, until she had her own. She told me there was nothing better than being a grandma. I called her Glam ma. Kathy, I will miss you dear friend and will always remember you.

Don't know how to begin and definitely didn't know how to end. Kathy had a wonderful way of making you laugh when you were in a true mulk and mire. She was so unique and can never be replaced in our lives. I thank God i had an opportunity to share with her just one on one a few weeks ago and it seems like that 15 minutes was a lifetime. We laughed and laughed and i will hold on to that and her bubbly spirit forever. May she rest in peace and God bless all of the family and friends.
