Brenda and family,
I was so shocked when I read this in the paper. I babysat both tripod and Keith when I was a teenager living down the street on Kentucky. I remember your family joining us along with the Davidson's spending a week or weekend at Lake Murray. Brenda we will never forget when you beat the snake on the rocks with a wooden oar. My dad would pull Kenny so he could barefoot water ski. Oh the memories could go on forever.
I am praying for your strength and courage to get you through this very difficult time. Kenny has now received his wings joining my dad and I have comfort knowing that he and my dad are both having a blast boating and camping with the Lord in heaven.

For many years Jr. and I were inseperable. He was the best friend a person could have.I regret not staying in touch for the last few years.I guess I always thought I would eventually call him for a round of golf.By the way I was with Jr. the day of his hole-in-one and there was no foot wedge involved.I know when my time comes and I want to find him all I have to do is ask for the guy with nicest lawn.
Brenda,Sr. and kids I cannot put into words how this unfortunate circumstance effects me and untold others.Kenny Jr. will be sorely missed .With deepest regrets and Love for you all.

Brenda,
When Kenny would come in Lowes and buy trees, I would ask "any grandkids yet"
he would say " no but Brenda's ready"
Then the big day came, he came in and you could just tell he was about to pop,
a big grin, his eyes told me before he could say the words, he was going to be a grandpa ,and said Brenda's going crazy buying out the stores, he was so proud. he had that JOY that only grandparents know about.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
May God give you peace, and watch over you and your's . when you give hug's and kiss's to those kid's always give them two one from you the second from Kenny.
Your in my prayers.

Working for the Skaggs family as a teen was a great time in my life too. Kenny Jr. was more than a boss, he was a teacher and a friend to me when I didn't have a lot of positive role models in my life. May God bless the family and friends of Kenny Jr. and give you all peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Kenny Sr, Brenda and Family,
There are no words to describe the shock and how sadden I was to hear about the passing of Kenny Jr.
My dad (Bob Potter) called this morning with the news about loosing one of his buddies and my classmates that we both loved and adored. We reminisced about some of the best years of my life being shared around Kenny Jr. while we were in high school hanging out at Taylor park swimming pool and getting‘ into mischief, tee-peeing houses and driving around in Kenny’s car going to the local hang out on south side after school.
I could tell in my dad’s voice that he felt the loss as well as I did as he chocked up talking about giving Kenny such a hard time when they talked about his hole in one, joking with him on how he heard he had kicked it in with his foot and they always had a big laugh about that.
He mentioned how taking the photographs for most of the marriages that took place in the Skaggs family, that he thought Kenny Jr. had married some one that complimented him and said how cute they were together 37 years ago when they got married and he shot their wedding. Brenda, I know Kenny thought he was so lucky to have you because he would light up when he talked about how much he adored and loved you.
I don’t think Kenny ever met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face when you walked in the tag agency and something nice or funny to talk about. He was an awesome person to be around, he had a personality that people were drawn to and if you were his friend or buddy, you were for life. He always made me laugh when I came into get my tag or renew my drivers license, talking about the good old days and some of the crazy things we did back then along with catching up on old friends we had lost touch with over the years or bragging about our grand kids and how old we were getting to be.
The world has lost some one I considered to be a great person and friend, there will never be another one like him. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
God Bless you all.
