Lois Evelyn Biggs Dewberry

Lois Evelyn Biggs Dewberry passed into the presence of her Lord on Friday, February 20, 2004 at the age of 80. She was born on February 19, 1924 near Greenbriar, Arkansas to Pleasant Luther Biggs and Essie Mae Collins Biggs. She was raised in Searcy, Arkansas and after high school attended Draughns Business School in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She married Glenn P. Dewberry, Sr. on September 25, 1943. He preceded her in death, and she is survived by her six children: Mary Ann Drea and her husband Mike, Glenn P. Dewberry, Jr. and his wife Deborah, and Jane Dewberry of Yukon, Oklahoma; George M. Dewberry and his wife Rae of Greenville, Michigan, Susan Dudley and her husband Mark of Kansas City, Missouri, and Phillip L. Dewberry of Houston, Texas; her fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She loved the Lord and her life was a testimony of steadfastness and faithfulness to Him. Proverbs 31:25 & 28, 'Strength and honor are her clothing, and she shall rejoice in time to come. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.' Viewing will be on Tuesday, February 24th, 2004 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Vondel L. Smith and Son Mortuary on Wednesday, February 25th, at 3:00 p.m.
