Lucius Christopher "Chris" Tirey III

Services for Lucius Christopher 'Chris' Tirey, III, of Kingston, OK will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 31, 2002 at Church of Resurrection, 13122 North Rockwell, OKC. Rev. Michael A. Jasper will officiate. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada. Mr. Tirey died Monday, May 27 at Plano, TX. He was born to Lucius Christopher and Mary Elizabeth Camp Tirey on Oct. 6, 1948 at Seattle, WA. He graduated from Woodward High School and attended the University of Oklahoma and Central State University. He formerly owned and operated Tirey Distributing Company in Shawnee and was currently employed at Dowley Security Systems in Oklahoma City. He married Jean Stevens on May 13, 1988. He attended the Episcopal Church, and served in the U.S. Marines in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Jean Stevens Tirey, Kingston, OK; I son, Luke Tirey, Edmond; Father, Chris Tirey, II, Norman; Mother, Mary Tirey, Oklahoma City; Step-son, Jeremy Cox, Austin, TX; Sister, Vickie Wright, Moreland, OK and 3 grandsons.
