Marjorie Sells Obituary

Marjorie Ruth Sells, age 87, went to be with God on Monday, December 13, 2010. She was born July 8, 1923 in Guthrie to Ben and Audra Myers. She graduated as Salutatorian and a Beauty Queen from Foster High School. On April 11, 1942 she married Solomon Sells. She lived in many different places, including Germany, before settling in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a lifelong member of First Southern Baptist Church of Del City, OK. Marjorie was meticulous in all areas of her life and had an astonishing way of making a house a home. Although, busy as a scrupulous Homemaker, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marjorie will be especially remembered for her quick wit, spirit of adventure and ability to extend help to others without hesitation. She was preceded in death by her husband Solomon Sells, her parents Ben and Audry Myers, and sisters Wanda Myers and Joyce Turner. Survivors include her children: Deloris Wiley and her husband Dutch Wiley, Paulette Comeau, Cheryl Baker and adopted son Mark Sells; grandchildren: Raymond Winstead, Angie Dufort and husband Dan, Tanya Wrinkle and husband Dee, Gage Comeau and wife Crystal, Chad Pinther and wife Heather, Mindy Koenig and husband Chris and numerous great-grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec.r 17, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, 5005 SE 29 St. with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4009 SE 29 St., Del City, OK 73115, Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the service.
