MARY MUSE Obituary

November 26, 1923 - February 5, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Mary Elizabeth (Mary Beth) Muse passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at St. Ann's Nursing Home. Mary Beth was born November 26, 1923 to Frank and Loretta O'Neill in St. Joseph, Missouri. She lived with her parents in Kansas City until the age of 13 when they moved to Oklahoma City. Mary Beth attended John Carroll Catholic School. She met John Muse at the USO Club at the Will Rogers Airport Training Center. They were married on September 27, 1944 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Oklahoma City. From this union 3 children were born. Mary is preceded in death by her parents - Frank D. O'Neill (1969) and Loretta M. O'Neill (1984), and her husband, John A. Muse (2002). She is survived by her children John F. (Sharon) Muse, Mary L. Kennard and W. Steven (Delores) Muse. Mary Beth has 6 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 9 step-great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be at the funeral home during the day Sunday. A Rosary will be held in her honor Sunday, Feb. 9th, at 6:30 PM in the Hahn-Cook Chapel with a Funeral Mass following Monday, Feb. 10th, at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church.

I was a volunteer at St. Ann's. How she loved to dance on Thurs. at St. Ann's. She was always so polite. I will miss her sweet smile. My prayers to the family

Steve ( smokey ) is one of my best friends that I think about often. I new his mom when steve and I were in high school. She was a beautiful and kind person.
