Michael Jefferson Obituary

Michael William Jefferson, age 64, passed from this life on February 20, 2011. He was born on April 11, 1946 in OKC where he lived and worked for most of his life. He retired from a long career at Wilson's Foods. After retiring, Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his sweetheart, Sharon, at their home in Lexington. He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Coleman; father, Joe Jefferson; and stepmother, Vivian; son, Jim Jefferson; and brother-in-law, Darrell Preston. He is survived by Sharon Henson; son, Joe Jefferson and wife Tracey; daughter, Sheril Abernathy and husband Stephen; 5 granddaughters; stepfather, Fred Coleman; brother, Jerry; sisters, Shirley and Rita; step brother and sister, Keith and Connie; aunt, Marcy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mike was very loved and will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held March 6th at 2PM at Worley Cemetery on SE 74th and Post Road.
