Pamela Gray Obituary

Pamela Sue Swearingen Gray was born May 22, 1946 in Oklahoma City. Pam was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Pam passed away on January 16, 2009. She is survived by her husband, 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a brother and sister. Pam served 22 years with distinction on the Midwest City Police Department. Very dedicated to her job and community, Pam served on patrol, undercover and detective duties covering crimes against persons. The last 8 years of her life were spent with the person she called "The love of her life." Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Mon., Jan. 19 in Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service in Midwest City.

We just watched a TV program that introduced Pam as a detective with the Midwest City Police Dept. in 1994. The impression she left on my heart is feeling proud for her, and her family supporting her in her work, and that she stood strong in her beliefs. She is a role model
