October 23, 1936 - September 8, 2015 OKLAHOMA CITY Patsy Ruth McCoy departed this life on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at 78 years of age. She was born October 23, 1936 in Allen, OK to Henry & Eula Jones. She graduated from Central H.S. in 1953 and later worked as a secretary at Ralston-Purina. After Patsy stopped working, she enjoyed making her home beautiful inside & out, watching her television shows, old movies and talking on the phone. Patsy was a loving wife, devoted mother, sister and grandmother and caring friend. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orlo "Mac" McCoy & sister Imogene Brock. She is survived by her sons: Steve Rowland & Jimmy Rowland; daughter, Cindi Rowland; brothers, W.B. Jones, Eddie Jones & wife Dora; sister, Geraldine Bingham; grandchildren, Matthew Rowland, Ryan Rowland & wife Rachel, Randi Rowland & her fiance Cody Penner; two great-grandchildren, Jaden & Kolten Rowland; & a host of other loving extended family members and friends. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8 PM Friday with family greeting friends from 4-6 PM. A celebration of her life will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the South Colonial Chapel (6934 S. Western) with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens. vondelsmithmortuary.com
