PHILIP STACK Obituary

Aug 18, 1946 - July 7, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Philip Wayne Stack, 65, passed away July 7, 2012. Phil was born on August 18, 1946, in Oklahoma City, OK to Wayne and Gwendene Stack. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Bryan, and daughter-in-law, Jodi; his beloved grandchildren, Brennan and Tanner; his brother, Michael, and sister-in-law, Becky, and their children, Ryan and Amy; as well as numerous other cherished relatives and friends. Phil proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and found success in both the hotel and oil business during his career. Phil and Linda were married for 44 years and enjoyed traveling with their many special friends. Phil was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a genuinely great man to all that knew him and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11th at Smith and Kernke, 14624 N. May, Oklahoma City.

Phil "Hubba" stack and I go back to the 3rd grade at Hawthorne. We played little league together for the Gorillas. Phil was a genuinely nice man and a gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family
