I am grateful that I was a member of the extended family. I knew Raymond since I was 3 years old. He and my mom worked together at Al Schweitzer's for 25 years.
When I would go away to camp and then come home, I would always come in and look for Raymond so I could run & hug his neck.
Especially in the past 17 years, we would often share his wonderful prayers together and talk about the shared past. He was a very special friend to me and a role model. He gave me light and hope in difficult situations. He always gave me joy with a song and a joke. There will be a large void in my life and to many others.
I wish for the family, Rayford, Al, David and Tranish, peace and serenity knowing Raymond gave so much to others. His loss will be felt by many.
My love and prayers to all of the family and his many, many friends.

Uncle Raymond will be dearly missed. He was the kind of person that always made you feel great in his presence, and he had a great sense of humor. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family.

My thoughts and prayers are extended to the family, friends, and associates. I have fond memories of patronizing his establishment which was located on N. Eastern, just South of N.E. 23rd. I will always remember his candor and friendliness to not only the patrons but also to the entertainers that appeared there—artists such as the MoWest act Sisters Love. The Trevas Club, Off Beat, TLC, and Bryant Center were all mighty popular during the 60's and may our memories of them go on and on.

Mr.Harrison, better known to many as Papa, was a wonderful man. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to grow up as one of his adopted grand children. To Trenesha and all of the Harrison family, you all will remain in my family's prayers, as Mr. Harrison was dear to all of us.
