Dick was my Company Commander during my first "Rabbit" year at OMA in 1950 and we all felt that he was a very good leader, fair but firm, and well respected by his peers, the OMA Administration and Military Staff. He also was loyal to the Academy during the years following his graduation, working closely with the Alumni Association and Museum Committee. Ron Acree

As a cadet "rabbit" at Oklahoma Military Academy in 1950, Dick was a mentor who inspired me with his leadership, motivation and ethical qualitites of life. He was a model cadet for the academy.

I have several caractures Dick did over the years as well as all the drawings in the recipe book we did in 1977 and a lot of fond memories.
