ROBERT FROST Obituary
Robert Dean Frost
October 22, 1937-September 20, 2020
Robert was born in OKC to Robert Clemmons and Esther Mae Frost. He graduated from NW Classen High School in 1956 as a star basketball player and received a scholarship to Oklahoma City University. While attending OCU he joined the US Army Reserves.
Robert married Virginia Evelyn Baldwin on June 17, 1961. They shared 51 years together and were blessed with 3 sons.
He worked for AT&T for over 30 years and then started Foree & Frost Communications with Larry Foree. One of Robert's passions was the outdoors, he thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was also a member of the Twin Territories Treasure Hunting Club where he received many awards.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved son Jeffery Dean Frost; his wife Virginia Evelyn and his second wife Barb. Robert is survived by his sons, Robert C. Frost & wife Lisa Conard Frost of Muldrow, OK, Christopher D. Frost of Yukon, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Frost & his mother Kim, Briar Frost & his mother Tammy, Seneca Poulten Frost, Emma Kate Frost, Brooke Evelyn Frost; sister, Mary Allen of Beaumont, TX; brother, Earl Frost of Beaumont, TX and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to thank Mel and Cindy Ables for their friendship and dedication to Robert's care, as well as Interim Home Health & Hospice Care and all of their staff for their excellent care of Robert.
Visitation will be 1-8 pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Buchanan Funeral Service with the family receiving guests from 5-7 pm. Services to celebrate his life will be 2 pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Bethany 1st Baptist Church with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
