Robert B. Pitts
Aug. 31, 1930 - Sept. 2, 2020
Bob Pitts passed away in his home in Waterford last Wednesday, two days after turning 90. Raised on the family farm in Bogard, MO, he graduated Norborne HS and U of Missouri. In 1960, Bob married Marlonna Wine with whom he had two daughters, Teresa and Carolyn. In 1959, Bob began his career with Fleming Foods where he rose to be Vice President. He retired in 1992. Liked by all, Bob was a good man, upbeat person, and kind soul who worked hard, enjoyed his retirement, and loved life. Bob is survived by his wife, Marlonna; brothers, Dale (Dolorese) and Jerry Pitts; daughters, Teresa (Mike) Smith and Carolyn (Michael) McCall; grandsons, Corbin and Sean; and their extended family as well as many longtime friends and neighbors. Cremated, a Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City, where the Pitts are longtime members.
