McKinney June 4, 1930 - September 14, 2018 MIDWEST CITY "Rose" Rosanna Margaret McKinney, a resident of Midwest City, passed this life on September 14, 2018 in Midwest City at the age of 88. Born June 4, 1930 in St. John, North Dakota. She married George McKinney on September 16, 1949 in Libby, Montana. They attended Our Lady of Fatima until it closed and then attended St. Roberts Catholic Church.She is preceded in death by her mother Lenora Jeannotte, husband George Jr. (1-8-18), son George McKinney III, grandsons Travis McKinney, Blake McKinney, Kyle Rule, Naham White and Asa Sellers, son- in-law Tom Rule and daughter-in-law Linda McKinney, grandparents George and Margaret Jeannotte.Survived by her children: Earl McKinney of Oklahoma City, Amber Sawyer and Larry of Choctaw, Patty Rule of Henryetta, Michael McKinney of Midwest City, Cindy Anderson and Danny of Shawnee, Danny McKinney and Linda of McAlester, and Avis Hamilton and Glen of Oklahoma City; daughter-in- law: Desma McKinney of Midwest City; 22 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, many step-grandchildren and one great great grandson, and many cousins from North Dakota. Rosary will be held at the Barnes-Friedrich Funeral Home (1820 S. Douglas Blvd., Midwest City, OK) 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, September 19. Funeral service will be 10:00am, Thursday, September 20. at the Barnes-Friederich Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Choctaw Cemetery, Choctaw, OK under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
