Steven Niemi

Steven, 60, of OKC, passed away March 16, 2011. He was born Aug. 26, 1950 in Grand Rapids, MN to Edwin and Margaret Niemi. Steven loved working with wood and building custom furniture. He loved animals, especially birds. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing photography. Steven was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Marge Niemi; wife, Sonya Niemi; daughters, Angela Jacka and husband Rich, Kari Rawn and husband Pat; brother, Den Niemi and wife Donna; sisters, Patty Stewart, Debbie Tollgaard and husband John, Nancy Hautala and husband Marty; grandchildren, Emi Rose and Sami Lynn Rawn, Charlie William and Noah Richard Jacka; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org to help cure colorectal cancer or to the OK Humane Society at www.okhumane.org.
