SUSAN PARKER

June 2, 1943 - March 6, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Susan Ann Parker, 69, of Oklahoma City, OK, was born on June 2, 1943, in Kansas City, MO and passed away on March 6, 2013. She attended Trinity Nazarene Church in OKC. Susan was an Oklahoma City Police Officer for over 25 years. She retired in April of 2007. She was a member of FOP, DRE-Drug Recognition Expert, Retired Police Officers Association and CHAPPS (Cops Helping Alleviate Police Problem). She enjoyed watching T.V. shows, Touched by an Angel and Ghost Whisperer. Susan enjoyed being on the computer and talking to friends on Facebook. Susan's first love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Susan is survived by her husband of 23 years, Tim; four children, D'Andrea Hames, Stacie Roberts and husband Taylor, Tim Parker II and wife Jennifer, and Aaron Parker and wife Jennifer; two brothers, Charles Tweed and Willis L. Tweed, Jr.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Jane Tweed; and daughter, Michele Denise Thorton. Funeral Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Trinity Nazarene Church, 7301 S. Walker, Oklahoma City, OK. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, 36th and Midwest Blvd., Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
