Thomas McRay Obituary
Edmond - Thomas Neil McRay, 85, of Edmond, OK, died Saturday, July 10, 2021. Tom was born February 18, 1936 in Holdenville, OK to parents, Marvin Eugene (Buck) and Opal Viola Roberts McRay. He graduated from Holdenville High School in 1954 and served in the United States Navy from 1954-58. He attended Harding College and graduated from Oklahoma State University, where he majored in civil engineering. He was a civil and structural engineer at various firms in OK and LA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Sharon Lee Huffington McRay, in 2011; by his father in 1970 and his mother in 1992; and, by his brother, John Robert McRay, in 2018. He is survived by his son, Mike McRay of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Erin Boyd and husband John of Scottsdale, AZ; and daughter, Shana Huffman of Oklahoma City; granddaughter, Hannah Hoffman of Mustang, OK; grandson, Ryan Hoffman of Mustang; and granddaughter, Sydney Boyd of Scottsdale. A graveside service will be held at the Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 14. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Acre View Pet Hospital'f Fuzzy Friends Fund.
