1990 - 2018

Feb. 22, 1990 - March 16, 2018 OKLAHOMA CITY Trevor Duhon passed away on March 16, 2018, from complications of cancer. A Celebration of Life was held March 27 at Life Church in Midwest City, OK. Trevor was born at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV, Feb. 22, 1990, and died on March 16, 2018. Trevor attended Del City High School, where he was on the swimming and tennis teams and was also a mascot for Kerr Junior High. He was a leader academically and in many organizations at school and also earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated as a Valedictorian in 2008. He then attended the University of Central Oklahoma and Rose State College where he received an associate's in clinical lab technology. He went back to UCO again and was ready to complete one last class for a bachelor's in organizational leadership. Broadway was his passion. Trevor started his cancer journey at 11 years old with a type of brain and spinal cancer. He relapsed at age 22 from the same type of cancer and again at 25 and was not able to beat cancer. He died from cancer and the side effects from treatment as a child. Survivors include parents, Tom and Donna Duhon; and a sister, Ashley Duhon, of the home. He also has many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Trevor's greater family includes Sunnylane United Methodist Church, where he was a member; coworkers at Del City High School, where he worked as a Para-Professional for the special needs class, and at Target in Midwest City. Trevor was on the board of the Oklahoma Children's Association, a counselor for Camp Cavett, and the Patient Experience Advisory Council board at the Stephenson Cancer Center as well as the Young Adult Cancer Support Group. He made friends with virtually every person he came in contact with.
