Victor Tilley Obituary

Victor H. was born November 11, 1925 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma to Alice and Alan Tilley and passed away December 2, 2008. On graduating from Barnsdall High School at age 17 in 1943, Vic hitchhiked to Tulsa to enlist in the Marine Corp. and served in the South Pacific. After the War he had a long career with Republic Supply Company. He married Patricia Jo Bell in 1948 and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife, Patricia brother, Stanley and spouse, Joleta sister, Iris and nieces and spouses, Debbie and Jerry, Ricky, Cynthia and Mark, Melissa and Mac, Pam and Pat, Melanie and Bob and their 14 beautiful offsprings who were the light of his life. Also surviving are dear nieces, Teresa and Denise. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM, Thursday, December 4, at Vondel Smith Mortuary North Colonial Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 AM, Fri., Dec. 5, 2008, at 1st Christian Church, 3600 N. Walker. Memorial contributions can be made to 1st Christian Church, or the Salvation Army.
