July 22, 1936 - April 22, 2014 LOVELAND, OH Violet L. Brown, of Loveland, OH, formerly of Oklahoma City, OK. Born on July 22, 1936 in Westville, OK. Violet went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Carl R. "Bob" Stevens and the late William G. "Bill" Brown Jr. Loving mother of William G. (Betty) Brown III, Greg (Diana) Brown and the late Denise Hunt. Dear mother-in-law of Charlie Hunt. Caring grandmother of Nick, Alex, Joshua, Bryan and David Brown and great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Earl Wilkie. Cherished daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruby (Massengale) Wilkie and daughter-in-law of the late Gladys and William G. Brown Sr. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Violet was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio. Visitation will be held at Vondel L. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK, from 10 AM to 12 Noon, on Monday, April 28, with a graveside service to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK.
