John Fendley Obituary
La Grange
John Fendley of La Grange passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022. He was a member of Covington Baptist Church. John retired from Central State and served in the Army National Guard for six years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Guy Clifton and Daisy Bell Clifford Fendley; siblings, Shelton Fendley and Violet Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Joyce Carter Fendley; daughters, Connie Payne (David), Dawnita Fendley and Bonnie Carter (Jeff); grandchildren; Lydia and Alyssa Carter; and sister, Doris Kathryn Kriel.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, with burial to follow in Mahoney Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to Covington Baptist Church.
