25 years ago our daughters hired a limo to help us celebrate our 25th.wedding anniversary. The driver was non other than Johnny G.Needless to say, we had an absolute blast! He took us everywhere with great enthusiasm and joy. HE made our entire day so very special and memorable.I've never failed to talk to John when he didn't have a smile on his face and saying something kind about someone else.We love you John for adding the good stuff to our lives. My earliest memories are DeHaven church. Johnny and his family were always there and I can see him sitting in the overflow section as a young man. I later worked with his mother and with Johnny. He was a good man and an asset to this community.

Dear Family,
I am sorry I will be unable at attend Johnny's funeral. I now live in Ga. and am unable to travel. Johnny & I were friends for as long as I can remember. Our parents were good friends and Opel and my Mother were especially close after their husbands died.

I will miss our chats about church things, the "ways we used to do it" and all the tales about growing up in LaGrange. While our talks are on hold for now, I know they will resume one day. Until then, keep watch over us that remain...Rest easy my friend, we have it from here.
