Ansovino 'Tony' Albertos Antonelli

OLEAN - Ansovino Albertos Antonelli, formerly of 710 Hoop St., passed away Saturday (May 27, 2023) at the Seneca Manor in West Seneca.

Tony was born June 28, 1934, in Sarnano, Italy, and was the son of Primo and Nazarina Antonelli.

Tony was a 1952 graduate of Olean High School.

He worked for AVX for a period of time then Shawley Office Equipment Inc. before going to work at the Olean General Hospital in the maintenance department, retiring in 1996 after about 15 years of service.

Tony was formerly a member of St. John's Church and the Olean Moose Lodge. He loved music and enjoyed bowling in a league.

Tony is survived by four children, Susan M. Antonelli of Sausalito, Calif., Kathleen J. Antonelli of Batavia, Karen L. (Timothy) Hill of Charleston, S.C. and Jeffrey A. (Jackie) Antonelli of Buffalo; and four grandchildren, Daniel and David Hill and Travis and Lyora Antonelli.

Tony was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Alido A. Antonelli.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Deacon Matt Wenke will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean.

I remember Tony when I worked at the hospital. (I retired in 2020 after 45 years there). A very nice guy! Sincere condolences to his family. So very sorry for your loss.
