Barry Reiman Obituary
OEAN - Barry K. Reiman, 78, of Olean, passed away Sunday (May 25, 2025), surrounded by his loving family, at Olean General Hospital.
He was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Salamanca, the son of the late Kenneth and Bridget Smith Reiman. On Dec. 8, 1967, he married the former Nancy Woodworth, who survives.
Mr. Reiman was a tool and die maker, having worked at Signore Inc., Ontario Knife, also working at Knowles Fisher, and he retired from Cooper Power in Olean.
He was an active member of Southside Union Chapel where he studied for Sunday School. He had been a bowler and he loved to garden, fix things and go to yard sales.
Besides his loving wife of 57 years, he is survived by a son, Kevin (Sarah) Reiman of Horseheads; a daughter, Kelly (Dennis) Fortuna of Allegany; three grandchildren, Andrew Reiman, Tyler Fortuna and William Reiman; a sister, Karen (Richard) Brown of Baldwinsville; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Prissy.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday (May 29, 2025) from Southside Union Chapel in Olean. Burial will be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Rick and Penny McCutcheon, Pastor Dave and Daisy and Pastor Al.

Barry was such a nice and funny man. I remember the many times he would come over and talk to us in Accounting at Cooper. RIP to an all around great guy. You will be missed Barry. Sincerest Condolences to the family.
