Bruce Wilson Obituary

Bruce R. Wilson

MACHIAS -- Bruce Wilson of Bird Road, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the Olean General Hospital.

Bruce was born on September 24, 1932 in Franklinville and was the son of Raymond C. and Vivian Simpson Wilson.  On February 25, 1955 in Niagara Falls he married Henrietta Peters who predeceased him on March 26, 2022.

Bruce retired in the 90's from Ryder PIE. He was a member of the Church of Nazarene in Arcade.  Bruce enjoyed spending time on his farm raising cows and taking care of his cats.

Bruce is survived by three sons, Allen (Linda) Wilson of Seymour, MO, Craig (Jodi Lynn) Wilson of Sanford, FL and Keith (Jodie) Wilson of Machias and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Along with his wife Henrietta, Bruce was predeceased by his parents; three children, Bruce Wilson Jr., Rodney Wilson and Eric Wilson; and six siblings, Sandra Smith, James R. Wilson, Raymond Wilson, Robert Wilson, Betty Reeves, and Charlotte Thompson.

Friends will be received at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home 7 North Main Street, Franklinville, on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at which time a funeral service will be held.  The Rev. Tom Calzone will officiate.  Burial will be in Mount Prospect Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at https://www.babbitteastonfh.com/
