Carol J. Warner

FARMERSVILLE --- Carol J. Warner of Hardys Corner Road, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Pines of Machias.

Carol was born August 14, 1928 in Farmersville and was the daughter of John and Flora Leonard Holmes. On November 25, 1944 in Bradford, PA she married the love of her life, James Warner who predeceased her on April 1, 2011.

Carol attended Ten Brock Academy. She was raised on her family farm in Farmersville. Carol was a member of the First Baptist Church of Franklinville. She loved to read, sew, canning and gardening.

Carol is survived by four children, Cynthia (Ronald) Hutchison of Salamanca, Diana (Gerald) Keller of Ellicottville, Candace (Frank) McCullough of Bemus Point and James (Dawn) Warner, Jr. of Mayville; daughter in law, Theresa Warner of Great Valley; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her loving husband, James, Carol was predeceased by; her parents; son, John Warner in 2019; Son in law, Frank McCullough; brother, Virgil Holmes; two sisters, Lois Kessler and Athalene Perkins.

Friends will be received at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home 7 North Main Street Franklinville, on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Franklinville, 27 S Main St. The Rev. Mark Palmisano will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Rushford Fire Department, 8911 Upper, Rushford, NY 14777, Franklinville Fire Department, 75 N Main St, Franklinville, NY 14737 and the Farmersville Fire Department, 980 Elton Rd, Farmersville Station, NY 14060.
