Daniel Kruszynski Obituary
Born Oct. 8, 2009, in Buffalo, he was the son of Daniel and Carla Becker Kruszynski of Ellicottville.
He was a freshman at Ellicottville Central School.
Daniel enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, snowboarding, swimming and being out on the water at Rushford Lake. He played soccer, ran track and threw discus, and played the trumpet in band.
He was a member of the unified bowling team, a member of the chorus, participated in musicals and plays and competed in Quiz Bowl. He was a fan of garage sales and was always looking for the perfect bargain. He also enjoyed building with Legos and other things.
Surviving besides his parents are his brother, Jackson Kruszynski of Ellicottville; his sister, Cayda Kruszynski of Ellicottville; his maternal grandparents, Gerard and Mary Ellen Jackson Becker of Ellicottville; his paternal grandmother, Rebecca Swihart Kruszynski of Great Valley; his beloved dog, Ink; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Daniel W. Kruszynski.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 16, 2025) and from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday (Feb. 17, 2025) at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 18, 2025) at Holy Name of Mary RC Church, with Rev. Tim Koester, pastor of the Lakeshore Catholic Faith Community, as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Daniel G. Kruszynski Memorial Fund, c/o CCSE Federal Credit Union, 417 Broad St., Salamanca, NY 14779.
