Darlys Schaber Obituary
She was born March 21, 1954, in Salamanca, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Margaret Jimerson Abrams.
Darlys was a 1971 graduate of Salamanca High School.
She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians Turtle Clan and a member of the Coldspring Longhouse.
Darlys enjoyed watching NASCAR and going to races and also listening to music.
She is survived by a niece, Leah Shumack; a great-niece; as well as her uncles, Thom (Theresa) Abrams and Avery Jimerson; and an aunt, Marcia Abrams.
Darlys was preceded in death by her husband, James Schaber; a sister, Sharon Shumack; and a niece, Jessica Shumack
Private services will be held in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral home at the convenience of the family, with Coldspring Longhouse Speakers Al George and Bill Crouse. Burial will follow at the Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg.
Memorials if desired may be left in her memory and sent to EARS - Empire Animal Rescue, http://www.empire.petfinder.com.
