Lisa Kennison Obituary
Born March 24, 1973, in Olean, she was the daughter of Lester Jr. "Kenny" Kennison and the late Carol Sunderlin Kennison.
She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and of the Bear Clan.
Lisa was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1991.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love of lottery tickets. She also enjoyed the outdoors, campfires and watching wildlife.
Surviving are a daughter, Brittany (Chris DuPont) Chapman of Oswego; two sons, Jordan (Taylor Wilson) Kennison and Brendon (Courtney Bordon) Chapman, both of Salamanca; three granddaughters, Niomi Chapman of Salamanca, Breanna Doner of Oswego and Daisy Chapman of Salamanca; grandsons, Garrett Anderson of Oswego, Ryder Chapman and Hunter Chapman, all of Salamanca, Jax Kennison of Salamanca and Xander Farnham of Oswego; three sisters, Diana Kennison and Jody Kennison, both of Salamanca, and Michelle Rockwell of Kill Buck; a grandmother, Helen Kennison of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Lynn Marie Kennison.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday (May 31, 2025) at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, at which time funeral services will be held with Deacon Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca.
