Lois Weir Obituary
Born April 9, 1935, in Belmont, she was a daughter of the late William and Hazel Swift Glase. On March 23, 1957, in Bolivar, she married Nathan S. Weir, who survives.
Lois was a graduate of Bolivar High School and was employed at Portville Central School until her retirement.
She was a member of Allegany County Home Bureau and the Portville Garden Club, and she attended the senior programs in Friendship and Bolivar.
Surviving are three daughters, June (Bud) Leach of St. Louis, Mo., Diane (Bernard) Jerozal of Buffalo and Susan (Robert) Myers of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Craig (Mary Ann) Weir of Charlottesville, Va.; eight grandchildren; a brother, Roy Glase of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, William Glase; and a sister, Joyce Lamberson.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 51 S. Main St., Portville, where funeral and committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 21, 2013). The Rev. Al Batt will officiate. Burial will be in Maplegrove Cemetery, Friendship.

Love and Prayers for all of you, her family. She was and always will be my sister-in-law. Her maiden name was my married name for 35 yrs, Lois J. Glase.Remember she was the 'ringleader' of all the good times we had over the years.
