Louis Itier Obituary
Born May 1, 1933, in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Sophie Vincenty Itier.
Louis moved to this area from Long Island, in 1987, and had been a resident of various ReHabilitation Center houses over the years.
He worked for a number of years for SubCon Industries in Olean and more recently was a regular attendee at the Day Hab program.
He brought a smile to so many as he enjoyed coloring pictures for everyone, and dancing and listening to music.
While there are no immediate family members that survive, he leaves behind a host of friends, fellow residents and staff, especially his close friend and advocate, Joan Sauter of Olean.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday (Oct. 5, 2018) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Allegany Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to The ReHabilitation Center, 1425 Buffalo St., Olean, NY 14760.

I will miss Louis Itier from working 25 years at SubCon on 15th street since i was 19 years old right out of High School.I've known Louis for a long time an how he encouraged me to make a life cleaning for SubCon Cleaning Services for 12 years.Now,i will have my own cleaning services soon through STRAWW program cleaning $12 dollars an hour govt. buildingsan the elderly.Thanks Louis
