Michael MacWilliams Obituary

Michael L. 'Peanut' MacWilliams, loving son, brother and uncle

FARMERSVILLE - Michael L. MacWilliams, of Route 16, passed away Sunday (June 22, 2025) following a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael was born April 25, 1956, in Redwood City, Calif., and was the son of Alan T. and Donna Lou Haynes MacWilliams.

Michael was a 1974 graduate of Franklinville High School. He enjoyed traveling throughout the country after high school and then began working.

Michael worked for a number of places including ALCAS for a period of time, Moslers Safe Company, then for Foam X as a truck driver in Arcade for about six or seven years, then he went to work at Prestolite for about 15 years until he became ill.

He enjoyed driving around and listening to rock and roll music.

Michael is survived by his father, Alan MacWilliams of Hinsdale; four siblings, Dennis A. (Terry) MacWilliams of Franklinville, Brenda L. (Rick Duncan) McClory of Franklinville, Duane S. (Christine) MacWilliams of Anchorage, Alaska and Thomas J. (Carol) MacWilliams of Olean; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Michael was predeceased by his mother, Donna Lou MacWilliams in 2007.

There will be no services at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main St., Franklinville.
