Tracy L. 'Trixie' Threadgill

ALLEGANY - Tracy L. "Trixie" Threadgill, 61, of 18 N. Second St., passed away Sunday (Feb. 19, 2023) at her home, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer.

Born Nov. 1, 1961, in Amarillo, Texas, she was the daughter of Thomas C. and Barbara Reddy Threadgill.

Tracy's father was a career military officer and was stationed in several states in which she and her siblings were raised, including Texas, Colorado, Georgia and Florida. They also lived for a time in Taiwan and Libya. She completed her schooling at Allegany Central School, graduating in 1980.

She worked for 14 years for Olean General Hospital, primarily as a secretary in the radiology department.

Tracy enjoyed camping, hiking and reading. She was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. She was also an auxiliary member of the Allegany American Legion.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristina (Jesse Crum) Threadgill of Port Allegany, Pa.; two grandchildren, Paige Crum and Ian Crum; her longtime companion, Dave Cluckey; three siblings, Thomas E. (Rebecca) Threadgill of Allegany, Cynthia J. Threadgill of Allegany and Dale C. (Rebecca) Threadgill of Shinglehouse, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother in 2018; and her father in 2021.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 23, 2023) at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road, Olean. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday (Feb. 24, 2023) in St. Bonaventure Church. Rev. Michael Reyes, OFM, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
