Trudy Chatel Obituary
FRIENDSHIP - Trudy M.Chatel, 64, of 55 West Main St., passed away Wednesday (Oct. 5, 2022) at Wellsville Manor Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness.
Born June 11, 1958, in Olean, she was the daughter of Frederick H. and Shirley M. Harris Southwick, who predeceased her. She was married to Mark Harris, who survives.
Trudy attended Friendship Central School and was a graduate of there, Class of 1976.
She resided most of her life in Friendship, and had done various jobs in the area. In her younger years, she dove semi-trucks at times with her husband.
She enjoyed crocheting, doing phone games, driving cars or semi-trucks.
Surviving are a son, Mark (Danielle) Simons of Friendship; three grandchildren; and a sister, Anna L. (Terry) Archbold of Friendship.
She was predeceased by a brother, Gary Southwick.
There will be no visitation or funeral. Burial will be in Maple Gove Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship.
