Alice was a wonderful sister to my Dad, Ned, a devoted daughter to her Mother, and a caring Aunt to me and Great-Aunt to my sons Jeremy and Jeff.
I have wonderful memories of staying over at Grandma Jones' house and waiting on the front porch for Alice to come home from work. She would insist on clipping my fingernails, I would complain and Grandma would tell her to leave me alone.
Alice took exceptional care of her Mother, my Grandmother, during the many years Grandma was in the hopsital and nursing home. Alice would feed Grandma lunch every weekend and usually dinner on weekdays. Alice came to our home for Thanksgiving but not before going to the hospital to feed Grandma her lunch.
I pray they are all together now in peace and happiness.

Edward, Nancy and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you now. Alice was very special to our family. She made sure she got to know us and was so interested in everything about our kids, etc. I know she loved Kenneth and wanted to always do the right thing where family was concerned. She was a generous, loving person. We received her "typed" Christmas cards for a few years - they were special to us.

I have so many fond memories of Aunt Alice as I was growing up in Omaha and time spent with both she and Grandma Jones!
