Al is survived by his children, Ida Albers, Vicki Garner (Scott), Bill Adams, Kae Spitzer, Cindy Gladwell (Gary), Mary Stenzel, and Alvin Monahan Jr. (Julia); brothers, David Monahan and John (Peggy) Monahan; sister, Joan (Roger) Androy; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria, and their parents; one brother; three sons-in-law, two grandsons, and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 25, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
