Beatrice Arons Obituary
May 24, 1918 - Jan 30, 2013
Passed away at age 94 in Omaha, NE. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Mark; her mother and father, Helen and Zachary Dutky; brothers and sisters, Frances Riewerts, Sam Dutky, Louise Lincoln, Arthur Dutky, and Regina Marshall. Betty is survived by her cousin, Leo Davidow; nieces and nephews, Connie Sheehan, Bitsy Elftman, Caroline Romano, Steven Dutky, Virginia Lewis, Marsha Nipper, Sandy Brow, Paul Dutky, Howard Marshall, Meg Marshall, David Marshall, Joan Marshall, Jonathon Marshall, and Mark Marshall; and many great-nieces and nephews. Betty was born in NY and graduated from Cornell University, where she met her husband Mark. They then moved to New Orleans, LA where they lived for 48 years. Betty enjoyed teaching Science, Math, History, and Dance. Betty was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She loved to play Bridge, it was a big passion of hers. She moved to Omaha, in 2005, when she lost her house to Hurricane Katrina so she could be close to her family. Betty will be remembered for her loving and compassionate ways and her wonderful stories which always left you smiling and feeling good. Betty will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
A CELEBRATION of Life luncheon will be held March 3, 2013, from 12–2pm at UPSTREAM BREWING CO., 17070 Wright Plaza, 171st and West Center Road. JOHN A. GENTLEMAN MORTUARIES
